The University of Maryland hospital for children is recognized throughout Maryland as a valuable resource for critical and chronically injured children. Even with the wonderful staff at UMCH, long stays at the hospital for the kids can drag on. Brian and I have seen firsthand how big a difference receiving a gift can make for a child in the hospital.

Knowing that someone is thinking of you and reaching out to cheer you up is a huge blessing of encouragement, especially during the course of treatments. Giving gifts that can keep them busy or entertained, or even gifts just for them to hug can brighten their day and keep their spirits up. Gift giving is expected at the holidays, but Brian and I thought we'd try to keep the giving spirit all year long. So, we've come up with a way to do just that!

'ONEderful Wishes' is a gift registry through Toys'r'us that gives each visitor the opportunity to bless a child with a gift. When you purchase a gift on the registry it will be directly sent to the children's hospital and placed in the hands of a child.
